| Skuggeheim - Vinterrikets konge - norwegian old black metal? Isengard/Satyricon inspired? dark and raw? you got it all. Svart - Daa Allt Upphoer - rather well done swedish black metal, alternating desolated slow moments and fast brutally black madness. Ophis - empty silent and cold - self tagged doom/death, these guys are some kind of slow black metal with a lot of good stuff in it. Check it! Iskalla - Eternal Coldness - well, the title says it all. Cold black metal with some melodic tremolo picked leads. Forgotten Darkness - Nekrolog - one of the best Black Metal I've heard. Fast. Raw. Cold. Essential. Savnock - Universe of the Desolated Mind - Black Metal from the US, reaching new levels of awesomeness. One of the best tapes of 2008. |
