| I don't own anything from them, but the Denial EP sounds wicked. The kind of stuff I'd like to find, heh. |

| Of course i like some brutal bands, such as MORBID ANGEL, INCANTATION, IMMOLATION, but most brutal/grind bands are shit to my ears... |

| Yeah, I guess it's like everywhere, a few jewels drowned in crap. But the bands you name are easily fucked by underground/unknown ones |

| Right now I'm listening to the 7"EP from DENIAL (Mexico), a rather new band but with cult Mexican musicians like Oscar Clorio (CENOTAPH, SHUB-NIGGURATH), and meant only to perform old school Death Metal like you could hear more than 15 years ago. Support! |

| Oh well in brutal stuff there is MORTEM of course. I love THE CHASM albums, but its not brutal DM, more melodic/atmospheric DM. |

Kind of you, though, really... I hate mp3's... It's a good way to get to listen cult items, but strangely, I feel it denatures the original intent. |

trading mp3s of old cult demo tapes and live recordings in my eyes is pretty much just the same as trading dubbed tapes of the same items. which is what our preferred genres of music were born out of |

| I'd rather have old rotten tape dubs than mp3 zipped files. I guess that's why there still is some bootlegging... That would be cool to have these old Crematory tapes and vinyls hehe |

| yeah, i just prefer in mp3 than tape form as it;s easier to catalogue it, dont get me wrong, i prefer to have the original item, but if i have to choose between a cd-r of say 30 great demos or have 30blank dubbed tapes, i'd rather have the cd-r |

Not me.
I make covers for all my crappy dubs. |

| i guess that'd the other way of doing it i'm quite peculiar about it i'd rather have a blank dub or mp3s on a cd-r than a dub with a "fake"cover if i cant have an original... i guess that's kinda stupid... dont know why i think this way |

| Yes, on the other hand making your own bootleg... well you know they are no originals. That doesn't make them 'fake' anyway: you have the sound and the cover... But a distributed boot would have more appeal for me already. For exemples, the Agathocles and Black VIrgin boots I have, I respect it as much as the other tapes. |

Completely agree. this is one of the most surprising Death Metal releases I've gotten in a long time...hasn't left my tape player for quite some time!!!
It totally crushes all the weak ass "retro swedish" sound bands that seem to be popping up these days.
Pathogen is definitely what REAL Death Metal should sound like!!
I definitely hope they stick around and get some more releases out there!!
You releasing anything else from these guys on CSP? |
