| I'm trying to remain neutral on the whole "trend" kick. I think if the band pulls it off well, and preserves the essence of old...it's a good thing. Grave Desecration, Cemetery Urn,Nocturnal Graves, and Manticore are all bands I have profound respect for these days. |

| Incantation are the masters of oldschool evil doomy death metal, Autopsy - Mental Funeral is also another favourite. The Necros Christos demos and Dead Congregation EP are the best more recent stuff in the style. |

| Ach, I wouldn't say that... These are two different ways to apprehend Death Metal, both of them are good (not all bands though!), there are outstanding death/grind and brutal death metal acts. |
