Southern Lord plus hype plus decent music (no more, no less) equals : not of my interest.

I believe somehow they were unfortunate to end up in southern lord and have all the hype around them. maybe too polished, but long songs as theirs were in drudkh even if in a different concept. they are playing close to my city, I might go and spot them, drink with some old buddies I've haven't met and that's all.
About the music, it sounds good to me, but that's all.

the good gig to be at, were Celestial Bloodshed, Baptism & Sargeist. It was too far and in the middle of the week. they told me it was really great.

About CB, Baptism & Sargeist, the gig reports in France were really unflattering for these bands performances.

Shame they aren't coming over here. I'm a big fan of Baptism and Sargeist especially.
