Hello, I'd like to home recording some bass lines, how do you do it guys? I have a program called Audacity, but how do you connect bass or bass amp to the computer? Is some of you familiary with this subject?

Best for a D.I.R, is to use a pedal or/and a pre-amplification. You need also an adaptator for the jack u'll put in the "IN" of the soundcard. Are you started a solo project?

Best to use a mic, for a better, rawer, live sound.
Input and amp simulators are the worst inventions ever.
