personially, i find this awful akitsa... i cant listen to sang nordique or goetie without turning it off, just sounds so piss poor when you compare it to the akitsa i grew to love the years before those albums were released 5yrs ago,.... hence why i say get aube de la mysanthropie this contains the first demo + matrial from the split with song of melkor, i was ment to release this years ago before my distro/label folded...without a doubt the sickest shit these guys ever did, the first demo total servitude is like cross between power electronix and black metal, so dirty it's unreal.....

used to be greath black thrash (especially live) while the albums were a bit disappointing, kind of like Urgehal.... (meaning great live, albums kinda poor) but this new album reminds me of Kvist's album from 1996 rather than black thrash

Well, there are some fantastic tracks on Goétie... the title trick and "Ode au temps passé"... fucking hell.

Akitsa / The Syre is fucking great too. La Grande Infamie is quite good also.

i havent heard the syre split i dont think. nor have i heard la grand infamie.

for me akitsa will always be aube de la mysanthropie and soleil noire tape though, those items have such a dirty filthy sound. still have both original total dervitude demos from when they first came out, sick sick shit man. i highly recommend you nchekc it if you havent... I have it on DLP for sale... or i will do when i restart activity

on a totally different note, KP was gonna play a gig in canada with snowfall. and OT from akitsa was due to do guest vox on our akitsa tribute. too bad it never happened, would have been one fucking sick gig

Sounds sick man... Akitsa varies in quality, agreed. The best song ever is "Ode Au Temps Passé". The same fucking cold riff and drum pattern over and over again for 8 or so minutes. The vocals are incredibly fucking awesome.
