anyone else have an interest in this subject? and if so know any good sites? preferrably with pictures? or maybe any good documentaries?
i love pictures and videos of the thylacine even though they're pretty rare now a days, and vids/pix of ligers and tigons and all the cross overs between the breeds n such.

There's a picture in the video of children around a man holding a head of a beast that makes me nervous as I've lately come upon researches of hidden misanthropic races. According to some mythology/history once humans where slaves and food for those creatures.

that creature in that pic looks like the creatures from The Time Machine, the recent version of the movie...
the creature at 0:29 looks like a guitar fish the pic of the creature at 1:10 looks like a thylacine (tasmanian tiger) at 1:23 tghe thing that looks like a plesiosaur they say is apparently a decaying bask shark i've got a diagram on my pc which supposedly explain how a decaying bask shark ends up looking like that that pix at 1:40 and 1:50 are debated pictures taken in borneo few years ago, they think it may be a newly discovered species of animal, though some people say it's an animal already known though hard to tell due to fuzzyness of the pic
the clip was full of fake pix though hehe
here is a clip of a guitar fish

if ligers count, do deep sea fish count? many of them are fairly rare or rarely photographed, anyway. ^_^ also giant quids are awesome.
I got this coffeetable book on deep sea fish, it has really great photos. If I keep it lying out, the cover photo also scares the shit out of anyone visiting me, which also makes it worth the price I paid for it. ^_^
The Blue Planet - The Deep documentary/tv series (BBC) had some really cool deep sea fish footage also, but too much boring crap before it.

the cover of that book is indeed quite interesting, I did see some of the interesting bits on that BBC documentary, i was always quite interested in those creatures in the deep. does your book mention the coelacanth?
technically the liger and sturgeon etc shouldnt be under a thread for cryptozoology but still it's quite interesting:)

I thoroughly enjoy this subject myself... I remember when the whole Bigfoot thing that just happened came out I was so excited that people I know could finally shut the fuck up and stop thinking I was nuts because I like this kinda shit, and of course it ended up being a hoax, but damn if I wasn't blown away for the few days that it was "true"... I personally like to read about shit on sites like Wikipedia and then follow the sources for the entries, usually leads to finding cool stuff...
