wow... an interesting blog to say the least. i think everybody would love to be able to pay the bills just by releasing bands all day, but is that why we do it? hell no. i can speak at least for myself when i say that i started SPR first and foremost for music, and if it ever became about anything else then i would quit doing it. and here is something to consider, (just to play devils advocate) he says he wont release first demos anymore, then how the hell will bands be found that he can profit off of? leave it to everyone else to do it so some other fuck can make a buck? thats bullshit. the guy might as well have wrote a blog that simply said "bands, labels and basically everybody FUCK OFF" because that would have been much more to the point.
