I love Romero. Yes, I agree about land of the dead. It's one step crapier than the dawn of the dead remake. But the remake of night of the living dead is unexpectedly great. I havent seen the diary. Also I like Martin a lot and Two evil eyes (Romero/Argento) night of the living dead remake? from 1990? (just had a look at imdb)

| Night of The Living Dead (1969) rules. It is fucking killer stuff... Dawn of The Dead (1984?). Nothing Need be said. Day of The Dead - Scary stuff, quite creepy. Land of The Dead - said. Diary of The Dead - decent
Dawn of the Dead remake was rather crap. Still enjoyable though. Haven't seen any other remake.
One superb movie I saw this year was REC.

By my side I didn't know imdb. Interesting. I'm a net primitive though, I have only one year of systematically usage of internet.

| I left this discussion too many hours ago... btw Fulci movies are fine but sometimes they are cheesy. I think that THE BEYOND , THE HOUSE BY THE CEMETERY and CITY OF THE LIVING DEAD were very very good. They gives a sense of hopelessness. There's no way out. and The Beyond is one of the best ones. Maybe the focus about the other two is because of the violence and the gore. City of the Living Dead is one of the most violent movies I've ever seen. But it's also because the horror scenes are sloooow. Think about Zombie 2 when the zombie grabs the woman's head and squeeze the eye on a little part of the door. It's Slow and you sense the PAIN. Something that seems lost in some movies. Audition of Miike gave me the same feelings, but it was a mental state of pain.
Zombie Movies are great. What about Shaun of the Dead? One the best, if not the best, mix between horror and comedy. Wild Zero is great. Just crazy. Guitar Wolf wanted to shot a sequel.
I recommend the first two movies of the italian director Pupi Avati: ZEDER ( in Usa - Revenge of the Dead) and THE HOUSE OF THE LAUGHING WINDOWS

| just watched the beyond, the bit with the spiders was just hilarious but the ending got a bit confusing, i liked this movie a lot more than house by the cemetery though, that movie kind of annoyed me with the little kid and the shitty actress dub over for his voice.... it was also quite slow to get going. going to watch the zombi 2:zombie flesh eaters movie tomorrow i think. | |

| I've now checked out zombi 2: Zombie flesh eaters and zombi 3: Zombie flesh eaters 2 and Land of the Dead as well. some of the scenes in all of these were classics but there were things in each of them that made them somewhat annoying....
land of the dead... thinking zombies? i didnt like this idea zombi 3: Zombie flesh eaters 2 : again, zombies with one liners? and a head that attacks people?
next movie... city of the living dead

| Love zombie movies... Obviously keener on Romero's, but I'm open to suggestions. Also, I like the 28 days/weeks later films. | |

| city of the living dead ... as with every fulci i watched now, not a bad movie but there's always something I need to complain about... in this one it's zombie being able to disappear and re appear, and being able to kill people with their mind.... I still need to watch 28 weeks later, bt dont know anyone who has the dvd | |

That's what i love about fulci though, it's complete nonsense. The plot is either complete shit or it's nonexistent. ^_^ I fucking hate the kid in house by the cemetery though.

| Just Watched "The Zombie Dead" and I am quite speachless... the movie was so bad its good type of movie, zombies werent the greatest, but i like how they moved, again i didnt like the idea of zombies with intelligence, as they were using weapons to hack through doors or climb up walls to get into the house...
the really freaky thing was an adult playing the child since apparently it was illegal to have children play in such movies... so the child looks completely wrong in the first place, and then the child gets scared of thezombies and wants to fuck his mother to add an even more bizarre twist on it. anyway gotta watch it if you like shitty b movies...

| Worst zombie movie moment:
When zombies started to run.
That should sum it up for me.
Some of my faves:
Evil Dead and its sequels... Night, Dawn, Day... Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original) Pulp FIction Event Horizon (the hell scenes are awesome) Monty Python and the Holy Grail anyone? Best comedy ever made.
There is lots more just can't think of them.
Evil Dead 4 will never happen. Raimi is too busy gorging himself on the horrible spider-man films. There was talk of a remake of the original... Come on people, dont fucking remake Evil Dead... they are already going to remake Nightmare on Elm St. and Robert Englund is being replaced... wtf? what has the world come to?

| My worst zombie moment!!! When a zombie dad recognizes his daughter and takes her by the hand for a walk... ...and later, he even fights a fellow zombie to protect her!!! | |

| Evil Dead Suspiria Pulp Fiction The Beyond Flowers of flesh and blood Uzumaki
Got a copy of Suspiria for sale actually. The 3 disc limited edition one from Anchor Bay. Limited to 60,000.
Testsuo is a great film. Got Tetsuo II as well but not as good in my opinion.
